This is Rogue's traditional billfold, the shape most men already own, cut from the same leather baseball gloves are made from. If you have ever picked up a glove that has been played in for a few seasons, you already know the feel. Thick, soft, a little grabby, and it takes a scuff without looking beaten up.

Same wallet, three leathers

The Heritage billfold comes in three hides and they are genuinely different to live with. This one is the softest and the least expensive of the three. Moose sits in the middle, soft in the hand with a little more structure to it. Bison is the toughest, stiff out of the box, and the one that will still be going in ten years.

Who makes it

Rogue Industries, in Standish, Maine. Michael Lyons started it in 2007 because he was tired of sitting on a fat back-pocket wallet, taught himself leatherwork, and came out of it holding two patents on a front pocket shape. The workshop runs on solar.

I did not make this and I am not going to imply I did. What I can tell you is it is made in the United States by a shop that puts its own name on it and backs it for two years, which is the same standard I hold the turquoise to.
