About the stone
The maker calls it a turquoise slab and does not say where it came from. Every other slab in this line is dyed howlite, so treat this as the turquoise look rather than the mineral. It is a good look and it costs a fraction of the real thing.
If you want the actual mineral, that lives on a different shelf: the turquoise jewelry.
Who makes it
The Jewelry Junkie, in Texas. I did not paint this one and I am not going to imply I did. What I can tell you is that the cap in the photos is the exact cap that ships.
